Palomar Health Downtown Campus
The Palomar Health Downtown Campus, located at the site of the original Palomar Hospital in Escondido, CA, is now a specialized facility. It does not operate as a general acute care hospital with an emergency room. Instead, it houses Palomar Health Behavioral Health (inpatient and outpatient), a Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health and Hospice services, the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and various outpatient clinics including Wound Care, Infusion, and Sleep Medicine. It also serves as an administrative hub for Palomar Health.
