📋Overview
Guar gum is a soluble fiber from the guar bean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba). It is used in foods as a thickener and in supplements as a fiber for bowel regularity and sometimes cholesterol or glycemic support. High-dose guar gum has a known risk of GI obstruction, particularly if taken without enough fluid or in people with narrowing of the GI tract.
